Firesteel 47-4

Firesteel 47-4 is a third generation high quality water based intumescent coating for internal structural steel. It can be applied by brush, roller or spray to provide 60 minutes fire protection to structural steel. Firesteel 47-4 is halogen and solvent free with no solvent odour. No top seal is required for normal internal conditions.

It can be applied by brush, roller or spray to provide 60 minutes fire protection to structural steel. It is designed to cure under low temperature conditions and does not require a top seal for normal internal conditions.

Firesteel Classic 120 is a third generation solvent based paint to fire protect structural steel for up to 2 hours. It can be applied by brush, roller or spray. Internal steels will not require a top seal for normal internal conditions, for external use two coats of suitable top seal are required. Firetherm can recommend suitable top seal systems based upon the environment it is for use in.
