Firetherm Intuhinge is a 1.7mm thick sheet of graphite based intumescent material supplied in 1.050 m lengths and is designed to be placed behind hinges, locks (either side) and other iron mongery. This is to prevent heat being transferred from the iron mongery to the surrounding timber so that it ignites either the door or frame resulting in a failure of the door system. Tested to: BS 476 Pt 22.
